A simple pomegranate to begin once again. I'm a bit rusty due to too much time away from the easel this year and I tell myself to keep it simple! I love this fruit to paint, the color, texture and that amazing top thingy. The painting is so much more red in real life, the camera can never capture the intensity of reds.
