Tallulah Gorge Dam - SOLD

This is oil on canvas and measures 8.25"x10.25'. Available for $125. Sold

Last fall, we took a day trip to north Georgia and I photographed this lovely scene. Last night I painted this piece in three hours–I’m getting faster! I’m working on that "loose", minimal brush stroke ( alla prima ) style–I’m getting closer.

Marilyn,
You've done a wonderful job on this little piece. Fresh and loose-and great handling of the water. Ever painted outdoors? You might like it--I find it brings a whole new dimension to my work and my understanding of the landscape, and you are kinda "forced" to paint alla prima as the changing light is your stopwatch! Thanks ever so much for your lovely comment on my blog. It really made my day. :-)
